Mitt Romney's Financial Connections To Conservative Talk RadioBy jpeterson, Section News
Most people don't like the word "conspiracy" being tossed around when talking about American politics, so I won't use it.
But something's fishy about the way conservative talk radio show hosts are covering the GOP nomination process. I have been researching this topic and emailing media contacts for a few months now about Mitt Romney's financial connections to Clear Channel Radio and conservative talk show hosts like Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. What I found out was that Bain Capital actually purchased the syndication companies of major conservative talk radio shows shortly prior to the 2008 presidential election. Here's a great article about that: CLICK HERE More below ~
Today, Politico.com has come out with an article confirming what I have found out about Mitt Romney, Bain Capital and Clear Channel: Romney's political opponents are receiving less air time and more unflattering coverage by talk show hosts than Romney.
Here's a Michigan example: Ron Jolly (Traverse City) literally blocked Rick Santorum from being interviewed on his radio show. Why? I feel that Santorum represents the real possibility that Romney's campaign will end in Michigan. Here's the article from Politco.com that came out today to talk about this problem of equal access to conservative audiences on talk radio: Conservative talk radio has a conflict of interest that should be discussed by GOP voters now and in the future. After all, if a company gave you a contract for $400 million and that company was owned by Bain Capital, wouldn't you steer clear of their political agenda?
