Not to mention the tip.
Tomorrow is the big day in Detroit at the Denise Ilitch household, where a Little Caesars $5 carry out special will not be found. With a $40,000 cover charge, the Obama brigade will be showing how life is lived in the motor city for the elite Democrats who really understand the little folk. The Obama's who have shown us how to truly vacation, play golf, and live it up on the public dime will be applying their taxpayer paid carbon footprint further up our rears when they fly in for this hoity toity to-do. But no way is this indicative of the family preference for presidential candidates: "The event isn't tied to Little Caesars headquarters in any way, nor does it mean the family is endorsing the president. It's strictly a private affair. And for an extra $47, you get an autographed Colombian hooker promotional head-shot. It in no way is indicative of the many places the President travels. In any event, those of us simple folk who don't mind the mediocre $5 leadbelly specials will be happy laying out the fin, and watching the local twp or city council step on some poor schmuck's property rights in the name of internationally mandated biodiversity. Just noticed this from yesterday.
Jason Bauer, the former Oakland County Democratic Party operative who was busted for his role in last summer's failed attempt to qualify a slate of tea party candidates for the Michigan ballot, pleaded no contest this morning to five felonies related to the scheme. The Michigan Republican Party's State Committee is scheduled to choose a method of selecting the Republican Presidential Nominee for Michigan on Saturday, August 13th, 2011. Additionally, the Michigan GOP's Policy Committee is slated to make a decision on Tuesday, July 12th. Their vote will recommend to the full State Committee which process should be followed in Michigan regarding selecting the GOP's nominee by Michigan Republicans and possibly the general public. However, many feel that we have not yet had an open and transparent process to solicit the opinions of grassroots activists and concerned Republicans across the state.
Therefore, concerned citizens, MIGOP State Committee members, and grassroots activists are being invited to voice their opinion in a series of town-hall style forums. (Details on the Kent County event follow the break.)

The latest news on the <strike>democratic-party backed</strike> Tea Party Party, took an unusual twist today.
Did Jason Bauer and Michael McGuinness pray to the great and all-powerful Obama for guidance? Did MDP Chair Mark Brewer appear in a pink tutu and confess to planning the whole thing (and then gripe that he woulda gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those pesky, meddling Right Michigan kids)? {Shudder} Okay, so maybe it wasn't that unusual. WOW.
Granny found the golden ticket. (H/T to grannynanny for this breaking story)
Or at least the latest news of our friends in Oakland county: Michael McGuinness and Jason Bauer both stood mute at an arraignment this morning before Oakland County Circuit Court Judge James Alexander. The pair were charged under a one-man grand jury convened last fall to investigate claims that phony candidates were trying to get on the ballot to split the Republican vote. Oh my.. How long before these gentlemen squeal on their Democrat chair Brewer? Obviously things are under control. As they are at all times within the Democrat party of Michigan. Bauer has a history of ..being under control. (21 comments, 221 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section News
SLAP!! Yessiree... That's the message folks!
The Donkeys that have brought us the RMGN, High taxes, Granholm, Obama, and this year the FAKE TEA party, have taken a blow on the face. The Fake Tea Party has been denied its position on the November ballot for now:
Petition forms didn't have "The" before "Tea Party" on it, which is the proper name that the mysterious startup political party used on other campaign documents. The vote to approve The Tea Party petition failed in a 2-2 vote with the two Republican board members voting not to approve it.
But to be on the ballot... they still have an uphill battle. (1 comment, 543 words in story) Full Story By KG One, Section News
This story just keeps getting better and better.
You've read about the MDP schenanagians involved with their cheap knock-off of the Tea Party here in Michigan here, here, here, here...oh, you get the point. Anyway, the first ax has apparently fallen. {Continued after the fold} (4 comments, 214 words in story) Full Story
