While the liberal Democrats pretend to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr day, lets look at what they do best.
Kill Black babies. Remember, Detroit is still The Murder Capitol. " Detroit for its part, struggles to keep up with the Joneses on such atrocities however. A calculated (from census and statistics numbers) account puts Detroit still in front on the abortion count. with fully a THIRD of all pregnancies terminated in 2010, maybe it should be asking for some of that blood money given by Bloomberg. It has a higher baby homicide rate, and frankly deserves its share!Of course I only assume that the higher concentration of blacks in Detroit would mean such numbers would be reflected in the wishes of such a pro death culture. Yup.
PONTIAC, Mich., Jan., 11, 2012 - A second Democrat Party official was sentenced today for his role in creating a fake "Tea Party" in order to confuse voters in the 2010 election cycle. Jason Bauer served as political director to the Oakland County Democratic Party and as campaign manager to then-secretary of state candidate Jocelyn Benson. Former Oakland County Democrat Party Chairman Mike McGuinness was sentenced on similar charges in December. Bauer was charged with five felony counts and sentenced to probation by Oakland County Circuit Judge James Alexander. "The actions by these Democrat Party officials is disappointing and was a serious attempt to undermine our system of government," said Bobby Schostak, chairman of the Michigan Republican Party. "Voters expect political parties to disagree not lie, cheat or steal. These individuals attempted to confuse voters and manipulate the election by fraudulently creating a political party. It is disappointing such high level Democrat officials were involved in this scheme and even more troubling to learn that one served in such a prominent position to a candidate running to be Michigan's chief elections officer. We can only hope that my counter-part at the Democrat Party joins me in condemning these individuals and their action." The scheme involved creating a fake Tea Party by Mark Steffek of Clio, Mich., which then held a "convention" to nominate 23 candidates to various legislative offices both at the state and county level. The names of the 23 candidates were then submitted to the Michigan Department of Secretary of State. An investigation into the names by then-Oakland County Clerk Ruth Johnson revealed that some of the candidates were not aware that the fake Tea Party had nominated them, signatures were forged and at least one no longer lived in Michigan. Bauer and McGuinness were charged with three counts of forged records, a 14-year felony; three counts of false swearing, a five-year felony; and, one count of false swearing-perjury a five-year felony. Bauer was also charged with three counts of violating the Notary Public Act. (4 comments) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Just noticed this from yesterday.
Jason Bauer, the former Oakland County Democratic Party operative who was busted for his role in last summer's failed attempt to qualify a slate of tea party candidates for the Michigan ballot, pleaded no contest this morning to five felonies related to the scheme. A new turn of events on this?
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the OCDP because it represents the faith that so many Oakland County Democrats have in the strength of our campaign," Benson said. "I intend to continue the journey toward the Democratic convention this August and hope to affirm their faith in me and the progressive agenda for election reform I represent for Michigan." See you below the fold... (2 comments, 762 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section News
For the fake Tea Party of Michigan.
Mark Steffek's puppet masters, the Democrats are likely a little hung over this morning. Mark Brewer is likely cleaning off his hand and counting the pennies left after suffering another failure of epic proportions in an attempt to deceive Michiganders. The Detroit News reports that the ballot will not see the Gadsden symbol on it this November: "In light of the plaintiff's failure to strictly comply with the requirements (of state election law), plaintiff fails to establish a clear legal duty on the part of the defendant to certify the petition," the court ruled. Short of an expensive and approved emergency challenge to the MI SC, its done, over.. fin. As there is more information beginning to appear that demonstrates fraud in their efforts, a further effort to gain ballot status by the Mudhens of the Democrat party is likely to see even increased resistance. Additional attempts to move it forward have even better chances to fail. They partied hard, drank the wine of deceit, and this morning Democrat hands across the state are holding onto ceramic rings of support. In the spirit of such celebratory events, we now go below the fold. (3 comments, 530 words in story) Full Story By Kevin Rex Heine, Section News
Most member organizations of the Michigan Tea Party Alliance are structured as 527 groups. This means that they're not allowed to directly advocate the election or defeat of any candidate for elective office, only to operate on behalf of issue advocacy and voter mobilization. However, the tea party coalitions in several states (including in Michigan) operate in strategic partnership with an organization set up specifically as a Political Action Committee. This organization concerns itself with candidate screening, endorsement, and advocacy, with a specific focus on constitutional loyalty and grassroots activism, and on integrity over money.
The Independence Caucus is not a political party, nor is it affiliated with any political party. It is the anti-incumbent, non-affiliated group of concerned citizens devoted to electing candidates truly committed to constitutional loyalty and fiscal responsibility, regardless of party. The goal is the election of such candidates to not less than 40% of the seats in the House and the Senate in 2010 . . . and in each following election year. It is a not-for-profit organization of concerned citizens from all walks who recognize the responsibility to act now to protect future generations of this nation from the disastrous consequences of our unfathomable deficits and debts, and exists to teach us how to govern our country as citizens, and to provide the practical tools and resources to actually make it happen.

"A picture speaks a thousand words." I am not sure who said it first, but to be sure we have seen that imagery can be used to evoke emotion, tell a story, provide an answer, or even compel some to action. A thousand words of comfort, hope, or wisdom that are sometimes contained in even the most simple graphical representation. Its why logos are created, market tested, trademarked, and sometimes at great expense protected from those who would damage the brand that relies on such imagery to convey its value. The Gadsden flag, showing a coiled up snake ready to strike those who would trespass on our rights, hangs on my wall, over my desk, in a place so conspicuous, that customers who enter my office, leave with no doubts as to who I am. My story is told. The flag is what I AM.. It is what this country's founding was about. It is not about deception and fraud, because it speaks clearly of cause and effect. So please read on, and look at some pictures below. (4 comments, 709 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section News
I am in the unusual position of being on a ballot twice. I had filled out the paperwork for a delegate spot, and the last minute decision to run for county commission doubled my exposure..
And I have found that running for delegate is like putting on a perfume that attracts a certain species of politico. All of a sudden, mailings from prospective SOS, and AG candidates appear, and special surveys for delegates become a part of the daily calls coming in. And I was never one of the popular kids in school. I have to say, the ability to cast a vote for a strong Attorney General Candidate as well as the Secretary of State to go forward and face the choice of the Dems is quite a special deal. At least the attention paid to those who might would suggest it is. And they are right. (6 comments, 749 words in story) Full Story
