Seriously, ANYONE could win Michigan's US Senate seat being vacated by Carl Levin.
At least if Gary Peters is all the Democrat party has to offer. The RNC has targeted a number of politicians who parroted the Obama lie:"You can keep it .." in the run up to passage of the ACA. They will be running a series of ads pointing out the many times each of these folks opened their pieholes to mislead constituents in this regard. The Michigan ads will initially be radio spots like this one (modified for Peter's name used instead) saying: "So what's your New Year's resolution? Here's one you can keep. Resolve to keep [Senator/Representative] honest in 2014.And its based in fact. From the Ivory Tower in 2009: " .. Illegal immigrants won't be covered, Peters said. Medicare benefits won't change, and will include no co-pays for preventative care and a reduction in drug costs. And Congress isn't being treated any differently than anyone else who has employer-covered insurance, Peters said. You know, it seems as if those might just have been 'talking points' to keep the natives from getting too restless about the takeover of a quarter of the economy. No, really! Though this is very serious, It still reminds me of a joke. Go below the fold and I will pass it along. (6 comments, 888 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section News
While Michigan gets a stale store bought pizza generic "happy Holidays", the lucky folks in Arizona get the Buddy's Pizza of Yore, Real Deal.
A 'holiday' message sent from Jan Brewer to Arizonans: "Merry Christmas!Yup. Now THAT is leadership. And how appropriate is that "Rosie the riveter" pose for this Michigan blog post? (1 comment) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
I totally get the current political landscape within the MIaGoPC'd, and the androgynous couple below is pandering to the GLAAD crowd like they think they're slick CEO's shooting fish in a Cracker Barrel but, "happy holidays"?

The Michigan state house education committee has received three bills worth checking out.
Each one promoting a better understanding of the history of our country and the reasons for its founding.
But we applaud such measures as worthy and restorative for our state and country. (6 comments) Comments >> By JGillman, Section News
He picked the wrong side of the argument once again.
Saul Anuzis former RNC committeeman still has it in for the man who replaced him, OR he really does like promotion of homosexuality, and that which it carries in its side car. Either way, he has made his bed with Dennis Lennox, and other young progressives in the party who wish to pander to the baser instincts of the forbidden fruits. But ignoring the results of such pandering and adjustment of social conscience to the legal protections we afford our youth is some bad Juju. Just ask prosecutors in Florida: "The case involves Kaitlyn Ashley Hunt, an 18-year-old in Sebastian, Florida, who was arrested in February after admitting that she had a lesbian affair with a 14-year high-school freshman. .. It is a felony in Florida to have sex with 14-year-olds. Hunt was expelled from Sebastian High School -- where she and the younger girl had sex in a restroom stall -- and charged with two counts of "felony lewd and lascivious battery on a child." The charges could put Hunt in prison for up to 15 years. ..Rules, right? Rules mean NOTHING when reason is toppled. In the above case, we see the natural progress of 'political correctness.'
And Saul's effort to vilify his esteemed replacement relies on just that method. By contextually abusing comments of Ronald Reagan, and confusing actual bigotry with a conscious disassociation to unhealthy lifestyles, he is solidifying his support for unhealthy, and nontraditional physical relationships. The ongoing bleat from the lunatic of many convictions, presented without further delay, the entrenched homophile Twitiot.
Former #Michigan Gov. William Milliken joins Gov. @OneToughNerd in condemning #RNC's Dave Agema record-eagle.com/opinion/x12212... #MIGOP #GOP #MIGov Some reminders of history, lest they be repeated, obviously need reflection:
1969-1982: William G. Milliken. Thirteen years in Office. Environmental extremist. Chummy chum chum's with perhaps the most corrupt Mayor of Detroit ever. But, it was smart of 'ol milquetoast Willy, that was his voting base. Kerry backer... Granholm backer... Obama backer... As Paul Ryan would say about Newt Gingrich, "With friends like him..." How this twaddling old tool still keeps calling himself a Republican is beyond disgusting. Helen Milliken a proud eugenicist? You betchya! Not supposed to mention such atrocities... Shhhhhhhhh! And, how can one forget...
Omitted: Made Jim Blanchard Look Appealing to Voters Now, wayward, petty, and pedantic child, you carry on with that polarizing the MI-GOP into obsolescence. I stand with Dave. By Corinthian Scales, Section News
It took the mouthbreathers 8 shots. The good Lawful folk in Michigan, should take note of that. (4 comments) Comments >>
