Michigan's Republican Congressional Representatives should be paying attention already.
No funding of Obamacare is acceptable. Period.
Under no circumstances was this EVER a good idea. Let the president decide if he wants HIS paycheck or Obamacare. It matters little if the corrupt administration is left holding a budget that doesn't allow his crowning pile of steamy achievement. By JGillman, Section News

Representative Kerry Bentivolio smelled a rat I believe.
He write in an email blast last evening: "You can expect major legislation to be voted on this week. Its not far from what is really going on. Apparently, there is a procedural move which has been used before to fool the noobs in the political arena, and provide cover for the enablers otherwise; Fund, Defund, and pretend. From Brieitbart:"The source added that House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is "shopping an idea of passing defund through the House with the CR, but with a mechanism that would allow it to be decoupled in the Senate, defeated, and then the base CR be passed without coming back to the House."Huh. Whats up with THAT, Michigan Republican congress critters? (3 comments) Comments >> By JGillman, Section News
"just give them a pill" or something like that.
Medical device manufacturer Stryker of Kalamazoo layoff of 1000 workers is because of Obamacare according to the Weekly Standard: " Late last week a Stryker spokesperson told me that Obamacare will cost the company fully 20 percent of its total research and development investments."Huh. But but Rick? What might you think about it? " I don't think it's the right answer. However, it is the law of the land, and the real question is: What can we do to make it a positive for Michigan?"Oh right. Positive. Just suck it up and play nice while the nice man in the whitehouse showers our Great Lakes State with golden raindrops. Video below the fold. "Hey I'm your Brother" said Cain to Abel before dispatching him.
And THAT was "family". In defense of Republicans who have sold out to Obamacare expansion in Michigan, Lt. Guv Brian Calley issued a letter that attempts to re-unify Republicans who have felt the knife of betrayal from Michigan's executive branch and legislature these past two weeks. The plea to accept Obamacare "as the law of the land" frankly falls on deaf ears, and his words add insult to injury when saying there is a conservative argument for passage. No really there is no such thing. And Jen Kuznicki does a fine job of pointing it out. She breaks down into sections his screed, and analyzes the mental disconnect that is being argued. At one point noting his argument of being a conservative: Me thinks she has a point.I have always been a principled conservative voice inside the administration, but when the Governor makes a decision I will support and help implement that decision. Its a sad day when the poison from our own flag bearers can so corrupt the conscious decisions of those who would otherwise be considered conservative to a point where they are no better than those who pass all manner of progressive policy. Its hurtful to watch grown men insinuate that they HAVE TO back such heresy for the good of the party. (3 comments) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Nothing sadder to watch than two aging queens trying to hide their Obamacare thrill going up their leg. Nerd, Progressive, and Big Government is no way to go through life, Rick Michigan. By Corinthian Scales, Section News
An interesting piece happened to turn up on Roll Call regarding the number of former SoS entering U.S. Senate races.
"We may have decent name ID, but it's weak brand ID. That was something I discovered when I ran," Grayson continued. "Despite the higher profile, it's not like it's a natural pivot into the next statewide race. And I think sometimes that puts us in a bit of a tough spot, because there's this perception that maybe we're stronger candidates than we really are." So, one has to ask, exactly what has Terri Lynn Land done other than hold a ho-hum title? I mean besides running an abject failure 2010 campaign with this twice failed anti-2A dope that split the Party just enough to allow Rick Michigan's nose under the tent. Did a 2014 Senate candidate Terri Lynn Land lead a charge against Obamacare expansion in Michigan, known as Snydercaid? Nope. If you believe so, please, provide a link showing anywhere she did. It's not like Terri, and her hubby don't have the coin and didn't have the time to bird dog the Nerd bus crisscrossing the state when JenniRick embarked on his Tour de Harassment. Bottom line. Where the Hell is Terri Lynn Land?!?!
