It really didn't surprise anyone watching the first-hand effects of democrat's "leadership" skills in action (a.k.a. Full-scale Cloward & Piven field test) in what was once known as Detroit.
In a very anticipated decision in Federal Court downtown this morning, Judge Steven Rhodes ruled that Detroit CAN file for Chapter 9 Bankruptcy. However, things aren't as cut and dried as they seem on the surface. And just what might those things be?

Oh yeah.
Because he wants to "first of all acknowledge" their "great mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick."
Gathering together "Great Leadership" Obama: "I'm looking forward to a lengthy collaboration" I am sure he'll keep the light on for you at the Super-28 Mr President. (1 comment) Comments >> By JGillman, Section News
So far.
Former Detroit Mayor and trendsetter Kwame Kilpatrick got what he earned (again) yesterday with a 28 year sentence for being a good Democrat. In other news, a pay for play [victim] complains: "Construction company Walbridge wants as much as $5 million in restitution that prosecutors want awarded to Detroit because company officials argue the firm was victimized by Kilpatrick's criminal scheme."Really, we gone THAT far over the edge. Its even asked: "Legal expert Peter Henning has said the companies involved in the conspiracy were going to be needed by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office to help prosecute the case and that it's "hard to distinguish" whether the payer of a bribe is also culpable of a crime.God help us. Yes. GOD help us, as the US justice department would have to set a new standard unseen in the last 5 years; prosecuting itself, and its employer. Praising the leadership needed for the Renaissance of Detroit, Obama early on, revealed an inability to recognize a bad player.
Or .. it appealed to him.

King Kwame be comin' to EMU.
Just because the student group refused to respond to WXYZ reporter Tom Wait, I decided to look up B.L.A.C.K and found their Facebook page. Their Mission Statement or, what they're 'About' on Facebook says, "They may break 1!!!! But they cant break us all!!!!!!"
Sure sounds like a typical James Cone militant race warlord organization to me. So, why is EMU subsidizing through our taxes the re-imaging agenda of Kwame Kilpatrick on their campus? (1 comment) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
This congressional election should be rather entertaining.
Saying new leadership is needed in Washington, D.C., Sen. Bert Johnson, D-Highland Park, officially got into the race for 13th Congressional District and will likely challenge veteran U.S. Rep. John Conyers. Hmmm, a feeble old socialist that won't talk about that Papas deep injection well and whose wifey is locked up in the Federal pen, or...
Johnson served in the state House of Representatives from 2005-10 and was elected to the state Senate in 2010. He said he expects to raise up to $600,000 for the race. So, working in the burb's sticking guns in peoples faces is some silly "transgression". But wait, there's more! (2 comments, 456 words in story) Full Story By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Never? Never say NEVER.
Folks, those are the words of Michigan Legislative Black Caucus Chair, State Representative Fred Durhal Jr. (D-6). Full quote.
"Why mess with Detroit," Durhal said. "Detroit is not a bastion of Republican votes and it never will be." Rep. Durhal, why "mess" with Detroit? C'mon! Rep. Durhal, your race card is showing...
DETROIT (AP) -- For over a month, Detroit has been reeling from new census numbers that showed the city lost more population in the last 10 years than anyone realized -- 230,000 or about 25 percent. City officials are trying to get the estimate increased, arguing that thousands of residents went uncounted. Nope. It couldn't be the failed, singular Democratic Party rule in Detroit since Mayor Jerome Cavanagh that's responsible for finally driving another 25% of the people out in 2010. Nothing to see here, folks. Could it be Kwame? (2 comments, 569 words in story) Full Story By KG One, Section News
