I hope that everyone will be enjoying the upcoming weekend.
In this corner of the state we'll have a lot of things going on around Southeastern Michigan. The Tea Party Express V will be in Hillsdale today at 5pm and Milford on Saturday at 11am. Romeo will be hosting their annual Peach Festival all weekend. Hamtramck will be holding their yearly city festival all weekend as well (Great Pierogi...Mmmmmm). Arts, Beats and Eats is happening. So is Ren Fest and Ted Nugent Saturday Night at Pine Knob.

"We have a tremendously talented and skilled workforce. We're very productive in this state." - Michigan House Speaker (and Gubernatorial Candidate) Andy Dillon "Rescuing troubled companies and saving Michigan jobs." Sounds like a sure fire message you want to spread in a state mired in its own depression. As it turns out, it's easier said than done. {Continued below the fold} (2 comments, 342 words in story) Full Story
