Andy Dillon demonstrates how he supports fellow democrats, er, I mean Michigan's Economy.By KG One, Section News
"We have a tremendously talented and skilled workforce. We're very productive in this state." - Michigan House Speaker (and Gubernatorial Candidate) Andy Dillon "Rescuing troubled companies and saving Michigan jobs." Sounds like a sure fire message you want to spread in a state mired in its own depression. As it turns out, it's easier said than done. {Continued below the fold}

Sounds great. Doesn't it? Looking out for Michigan residents. Doing what you can to help brings jobs into our state. As I mentioned above, easier said than done. The Detroit News reported this afternoon that Andy Dillon's first campaign ad was done by an out-of-state advertising agency. There are a few interesting facts about Democrat Andy Dillon's choice for advertising. First is that AKPD is based out of Chicago, IL, and has no physical presence here in Michigan. Apparently there were no Michigan ad agencies that were available in Macomb, Oakland Wayne, Eaton, Kent, Etc. who were able to do the ads. Now, as they say on late-night TV, "But wait, there's more!" AKPD was founded by David Axelrod, senior political adviser to President B.O..
"Andy! Thanks for sending that money out-of-state and my way. Yeah sure, I'll be sure to see that it's spent right back in Michigan. I work for Pres. B.O.. You can trust me." Dillon for Governor spokesman, T.J. Bucholz said the campaign,"is fortunate to have the unique expertise of AKPD. It's based in Chicago, which helps the (economy in) the Midwest." Helping Chicago's economy helps Michigan? Hey, Mr. Bucholz, do you want to borrow my road atlas? Chicago isn't exactly close to Michigan. No word yet on what else Andy Dillon wants to ship out of Michigan. Stay tuned for further developments.
