Bishop announced his campaign for Attorney General earlier this year, and continues to gain momentum and support across Michigan. As Senate Majority Leader, he led his caucus to stand firm against tax increases during the 2009 budget negotiations. As a State Senator, Mike has introduced legislation to ban partial birth abortion and strengthen the penalties against identity theft perpetrators.
