As I've mentioned earlier, I don't get a pension so this doesn't directly affect me, it's just the whole principle behind this asinine plan that's sticking in my craw this morning.

I'd personally like to see all retirement income (i.e. IRA's, 401K's, etc.) exempt from taxes just like pensions were.

It just stands to reason that the more of their own money retirees are allowed to keep, the better they will be able to take care of themselves (and the lees need for the benevolent hand of government to step in to take care of things for them).
