Tonight at 8 o'clock Right Michigan is officially scheduled to make the big-time.  Sure, having a story we broke linked on Drudge was nice, being an above the fold full-day headline on WorldNetDaily was cool and the coverage at NewsBusters and Catholic.org wasn't bad either, but tonight we hit national television.

According to teases on the Fox News Channel, Bill O'Reilly will be discussing the Mount Hope attack story we brought you here, first, one week ago today.  That's right... RightMichigan is going to be on The Factor.

How will he handle the story?  I have no idea.  Will something bump the story?  Could happen.  Has it been teased?  Yep.

With that in mind, I wanted to offer a quick hello to the literally thousands of first-time readers we've had stopping by today and expect to have stopping by this evening.

If you're looking for our original reporting and blogging on the Mount Hope attack, you'll find the direct links to our stories below.  But don't limit yourself to those links.  I hope you'll take a few minutes and have a look around.

Right Michigan is a Michigan focused blogging community for anyone to the right of center.  If that's you, pull up a seat and make yourself at home.  Take fifteen seconds and sign up for a free account and jump right in to any of our ongoing discussions.

If that's not you, well, we're glad you stopped by anyways.

Either way, I hope you'll feel welcome and will stop by to visit us regularly!

And to any Factor folks that stop by:

This isn't the No-Spin Zone, so while we are quite often pithy, we sometimes bloviate.

We're also quite confabulist, not recreant or discommodious at all, do not suffer from hebetude, and rarely maunder...

    So please stop back again!

And I just got rid of extended cable, don't need the extra "Obama channels"

    But Congrats Nick!

But I was glad to see O'Reilly got the footage from Mt. Hope.  I knew a church that size had to tape their Sunday services.

Oh, and hello to all my fellow FReepers who've been following the story!

Great job, Nick.  Score one for our Lost Red Mitten.

As always a job well done.  The Factor is the big time.  You're a shinning example of how a person can succeed through stubborn belief in core values and a steadfast resolve that you can change things.

If I were the Pastor I would have asked the congregation to open to Romans chapter 1.

Good news Nick, but... (none / 0) (#7)

... don't be too crushed if something pre-empts at the last minute.  I've done a few business news interviews myself over the years.  A couple of years back, I was at the Fox affiliate studio in Lansing one afternoon to do a live feed for a national business story. I was literally seated at a desk with the camera pointed at me, waiting for the light to go one, when something popped up on the other side of the earth and Fox cut to that.  Oh well, at least it gave me a reason to iron my shirt.

    Hey Nick caught this today.

Reference to Michigan's episode of "Gay Hate" Doesn't mention Right Michigan but you broke the story.
    -----quote-----
In Michigan, an evangelical church service was invaded and disrupted by gay activists, who also set off a fire alarm, because evangelicals had dared to exercise their right to express their opinions at the polls.
    ----------------
    Keep up the effort.
