  • Your New Scoop Site

    Welcome to Scoop!

To help you figure things out, there is a Scoop Admin Guide which can hopefully answer most of your questions.

    Some tips:

    • Most of the layout is changed in "Blocks", found in the admin tools menu
    • Features can be turned on and off, and configured, in "Site Controls" in the admin tools menu
    • Stories have an "edit" link right beside the "Full Story" link on an index page, and right beside the "Post a Comment" link on the full story page. They can also be edited by clicking the story title in the "Story List" admin tool
    • Boxes are what allow you to write new features for Scoop; they require a knowledge of the perl programming language to work with effectively, although you can often make small changes without knowing much perl. If you would like a feature added but cannot program it yourself, ScoopHost does custom Scoop programming as one of its services.
    • If you aren't sure where to look for a particular feature or piece of display, try the "Search Admin Tools" link in the admin tools menu.

RNC, GOP, MI-GOP, take note at the three minute mark.  Moderate/Centrist republicans only provide a two wing - same bird pathway of victory for the Democratic Party.  Why vote Democrat-lite when you can vote for the real thing?  SB59 veto = One Term Nerd.

The point of this is not about Piers, his bogus "11,000 to 35" stat he speechifies - it's about agenda.  In nations that have initiated a weapons ban as Law, the number of deaths is always >0.  The agenda of The Left is always about: Control.  The Second Amendment is viewed by the The Left as their greatest obstacle standing between them and control no different than it was 237 years ago for King George III.  Recall what was said about health care... it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken, to put the legislation together to control the people.

Those incremental words chosen by the longest serving Democrat in DC, was not in error.  Nor is the enslaving incremental agenda.

Today it's Iraqis under Federal investigation.

    via The Detroit News

Gov. Rick Snyder appointed Ron Boji of Orchard Lake and Craig DeNooyer of Kalamazoo to the Michigan Strategic Fund board of directors Monday.

The 11-member board promotes economic development and job creation by approving private activity bonds, authorizing community development block grant applications and acting as the fiduciary agent for the 21st Century Jobs Fund.

Boji is president of the Boji Group, where he oversees the management, development and leasing of space in the company's real estate portfolio.

Snyder Porks Up His Suckling Big Agri Commission

The BS continues to stack up around the GoverNerd without it being challenged by so-called republicans in Lansing.

Gov. Rick Snyder has appointed Fred Walcott, of Allendale, to the Michigan Commission of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The five-member board provides executive direction for Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development programs. No more than three members may be from the same political party.

"Fred brings years of experience to the commission, and I am confident he will do great work on behalf of the people of Michigan in this role," said Snyder.

A lifelong farmer, Walcott works for Valley View Pork LLC. The 4,000-acre family farm produces hogs, corn, wheat and soybeans, and houses a weather station which monitors crop conditions. Walcott, a Republican, replaces Velmar Green.

Walcott will serve a four-year term that expires Dec. 31, 2016, and his appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.

Sounds benign enough, right?  And, it is until one finds out that Fred Walcott has lined his pockets with $934,078 of our tax dollars for his private profit.  It's just a got-damn shame that a guy trying to make a living without sponging off of taxpayers is greeted by State Police/DNR/Federal agent jackboots just to peacefully have his day in court while being stifled by the Attorney General's Office.

OK, Senate nancy boys, what are you going to do here?
