All I can say about this August in CD-6 is, Go Jack! By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Rep. Upton maintaining his Republicratic wing values creds with hinting at increased
taxes.
But in an hour-long discussion Wednesday with Kalamazoo Gazette reporters and editors, Upton declined to offer specifics of how the committee might close the current $1.3 trillion gap between federal revenues and expenditures. So, good old Upton, Camp and Hensarling sitting on the "Super Committee" are already laying the groundwork for a Norquist ploy as way to evade finger pointing on new taxes that Democrats love. Bipartisan, of course. (3 comments) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
No. I didn't make that up. That is the egocentric propaganda that greets you on Upton's 'spotlight' bio from his Lefty coalition. Anyway, on to common threads of the elected 'Ruling Class' taking us all on a ride down the potholed road to serfdom. Pay particular attention to Mark Matson at roughly 1:30 into this.
Indeed, all bailouts are immoral. Matter of fact, they're nothing more than a subversion of our Bankruptcy Law. So, Lord Frederick Stephen Upton, the smartest and most hard working, what says you about this debt ceiling 'bailout' scheme? (326 words in story) Full Story By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Believe it or not, with lake living and fantastic weather, I let slip the vote last Tuesday to repeal Fred Uptons' incandescent light bulb ban. Well, here it is. Predictably, it failed. 233-193. 10 alleged Rs voted to keep Fred Uptons' Nanny State job killing $50 curlique light bulbs and opposed your pathetically executed right of choice.
Michigan's Reps. and how they voted to repeal Fred Uptons' ban. Yeas: Amash, Benishek, Camp, Huizenga, McCotter, Miller, Rogers, Upton, Walberg Nays: Clarke, Conyers, Dingell, Kildee, Levin, Peters Just remember this line of crap next election CD-6...
"It was never my goal for Washington to decide what type of light bulbs Americans should use," Upton admits now. CD-6 voters, please, prove to the rest of the state that you're not as dumb as these voters, and give Fred Upton the boot in 2012 too. Also take note people... Fred Upton couldn't even be bothered to cosponsor H.R.2417 this go around. I don't expect for this to leave Upton's Committee anytime soon again. Maybe if enough fires under a$$es in DC an attachment? Time will tell. Other than that. Thank you to my Rep. Benishek, and all the other Reps. that voted to repeal. But, not you Fred, you didn't earn anything. If it weren't for you, my Rep wouldn't be wasting time on your disgusting overreaching RINO Green agenda. Moderate fool. (4 comments) Comments >> |
