While we battle to save the soul of the country, it is nearly impossible to keep up with the rampant disinformation of the left.
One problem conservatives face, is that of correcting the factual errors promulgated by those who wish to "CHANGE" our country into a socialist dystopia. The group "By Any Mean Necessary" (BAMN) lives up to their moniker recently by straight up lying to (incredibly) dumb kids and turning them loose as hecklers and instigators. The tool so often employed by progressives was in full overdrive as Jen Gratz attempted to speak with college liberty types about the landmark Michigan initiative she won in 2006. "Several of the ninth grade BAMN members erroneously believed that Gratz had sued only the black students at UM, instead of the university itself. They repeated this claim in interviews with The Daily Caller after the event.Ignoring the fact she sued the School itself and the board of regents, even after being corrected. "Facts are so overrated" Sez the left. (5 comments) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Leave it to SE Michigan's Moscow on the Huron to go the way of control freak Mayor Doomberg.
University of Michigan Health System and the University of Michigan Medical School will no longer peddle sugary drinks in their cafeterias and vending machines, banning the sale of everything from sodas to sweetened coffees. And when U of M's "effort" does not include the use of my tax dollars, they are free to do whatever the Hell they want.
But several other efforts to reduce access have bred backlash for going to far to restrict personal choice. Courts have ruled that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's push to ban the sale of sugary drinks in containers larger than 16 ounces was illegal. The Left is "pro choice" when comes to killing babies and Teh Ghey marriage. Have a soft drink? Forgettaboutit. All those mentally ill cretins are fully deserving to be mocked.

From the guy whose company would go to the ends of the earth for its people to hire them for 10% the cost of Michigan workers, now does so as your elected Governerd. Also, as Republican Michigander notes, Mexico, too. Highlighted on Rick Michigan's list of fellow crony MEDC travelers is Nexteer. Nexteer?!?! AYFKM! By JGillman, Section News
The era of ever increasing tuition, leftist games, foreign technology transfers and racist admission policies could be over.
I'll let Henry cover this one Replacing retiring President Mary Sue Coleman offers the University of Michigan a historic opportunity to reboot with an administrator who embraces a 21st century, colorblind admissions policy that is succeeding in states like California. The university's board could signal the new era by including Jennifer Gratz on its presidential search committee. Its a good start. (7 comments) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
I reckon that being truthful plays all kinds of hell on an Executive who pushed through the DIA Tax on his county, and on a Governerd swirling tax dollars down the drain on excess, and extravagance while the bodies pile, and anarchy descends.

The Michigan Republican Party on Tuesday pulled a cable TV ad that bashes Detroit while touting Oakland County's GOP. And, folks still try to tell me that there is a Two Party system. Again .. Shut up, Brooks. Your 73-year-old duplicitous tongue needs to head out to pasture, and tell tales of how you remember your legend to your grandchildren. Everything has a built in obsolescence, Brooks - you, like this dangerous fossil, have finally met yours. That is fact. (2 comments) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
Noticed an interesting post discussing our infrastructure, and communications over at Hall of Record
Huawei, a global Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturer already doing limited business in the U.S., poses a threat to national and corporate security say members of the U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Those congressmen speak to Steve Kroft for a 60 Minutes investigation to be broadcast Sunday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET and 7:00 p.m. PT. No kidding, Mike. Good thing the Canadians had Snyder file a Buy American waiver on their DRIC, too.
Sure poses a quagmire for the MI-GOP loyalists, and the ChiCom loving Governerd, doesn't it? By JGillman, Section News
The MiGOP convention is coming soon.
Among the choices delegates will be making are for the Republican noninations for trustee positions sought at MSU, and Regent at U of M. In these two races, I have decided to support solid constitutionalists, and fighters for common sense. Getting the respective fiscal houses in order, concern over the cost of tuition increases caused by social engineering and subsidizing out of country students (for diversity) will be addressed by these folks. The constitution as a part of the curriculum also taken a little more seriously than it has been for too many years. A state fund intended to create 390 Michigan jobs has loaned $7.7 million to 35 companies and created 79 jobs - only 20 percent of the number initially promised. Gummint creates jobs? Never has even with coercive theft wealth redistribution. What he said.
