And it's one that Ron Paul didn't win, either. (In fact, he didn't even come close.)
Last Sunday (December 18th), the Tea Party Patriots held a tele-forum town hall conference with over 23,000 people nationwide participating. An introduction was provided by Emery McClendon, Julianne Thompson, Herman Cain, and Steve King. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, and Rick Santorum were all on the call and answered a series of identical questions. First off, I'd like to open with a joke. Bart Stupak is going to be teaching at Harvard.
Side-splitter. Bart Stupak is pleased that he has retired from Congress and insists that he has done the right thing in voting for Obamacare. So many of you joined the thousands across Michigan who let their voices be heard at the Tax Day Tea Parties. Some of you couldn't be there, but know that the Tea Parties represent a growing movement in America to have the voices of We the People be heard. Either way, this convention is for you! Our goal is not to elect third party candidates. It is to give people information and motivation to continue standing up for themselves against big government and bureaucrats.
