To help you figure things out, there is a Scoop Admin Guide which can hopefully answer most of your questions.

Some tips:

Most of the layout is changed in "Blocks", found in the admin tools menu
Features can be turned on and off, and configured, in "Site Controls" in the admin tools menu
Stories have an "edit" link right beside the "Full Story" link on an index page, and right beside the "Post a Comment" link on the full story page. They can also be edited by clicking the story title in the "Story List" admin tool
Boxes are what allow you to write new features for Scoop; they require a knowledge of the perl programming language to work with effectively, although you can often make small changes without knowing much perl. If you would like a feature added but cannot program it yourself, ScoopHost does custom Scoop programming as one of its services.
If you aren't sure where to look for a particular feature or piece of display, try the "Search Admin Tools" link in the admin tools menu.

As If Nothing Ever Happened - Day 26

If one was to forget about February 29, life goes on for those who simply had to stonewall.

Some of those who pretend they deserve the leadership positions within the Michigan GOP probably wish the issue could be silently allowed to pass on. The campaign which had been affected most directly has already made a point that it takes such underhanded manipulation of the rules a little more seriously. Only a few days ago, the story began appearing in the regular media again. This time with a promise by Reince Priebus that it would be looked into:

"Now, Santorum campaign officials say Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus has offered personal assurances to a lawyer for Santorum that the RNC would look into the matter.
Priebus, according to sources on Santorum's team, recently told Santorum campaign counsel Cleta Mitchell, a prominent Washington lawyer, that he would take action on a letter she sent to the RNC earlier this month requesting an "investigation" into what led a six-member committee of Michigan GOP officials to award 16 delegates to Romney and 14 to Rick Santorum after the race appeared to end in a delegate tie."

It DID end in a delegate tie.

We have demonstrated it already, with the rules, with statements by those voting FOR the change, (Schostak Feb 8) and with statements and memos by the honorable folks like Mike Cox, and Eric Doster. We have pointed out the glaring hypocrisy, underhanded subterfuge of the process, and the subsequent damage control efforts convincing decent folk to support such treachery within the grand old party in Michigan.

We should take this opportunity to remind at least one of them, that the memory of inappropriate management will be a heck of a lot slower to die. Below the fold ~
