    Day 8 of DeleGATE

    And the cracks are widening.

More will start falling in to the opening.

The Michigan Republican party elite continue to demonstrate a lack of conscience and common sense.

Michigan GOP Chair Bobby Schostak was given a great deal of rescue line by grass roots guy Jack Hoogendyk yesterday, and instead of pulling himself out of the quicksand, he wrapped the line around his .. well, it just goes along with the "give a man enough rope" saying.

What a foolish thing to do.

Prior to Schostak pretending like the Republican grassroots give a damn about him or his supposed integrity, there WAS a solution to all of this that was not only available, but considered.  The fate of the Michigan Republican party is one of interest to me.  A suggestion made to one of the 4 who voted for the CHANGE in the rules after the fact was not rejected outright.

    More below ~

But didn't wind up being the game plan.

Schostak could have walked back the process, said something like "after further consideration, the way the rules were were correct, and we allowed Saul to convince that it would be best to show the majority win would be good to establish a solid front for chasing Obama later"  The others (Obviously not Saul) would agree, and Saul would be tossed under the bus for his effort to cheat one of the presidential candidates.

A fitting removal of a progressive from Republican leadership.

Instead, the party leadership doubles down, and cements their complicity in the destruction of trust in the Michigan Republican party.  The effort to pooh-pooh the outrage by a new found Republican base will drive the dominance of the MIGOP back into the proverbial broom closet.

    And it bums me out.

But some folks don't play well with cheaters.

On Facebook, there are now well populated groups such as "Dump Saul Anuzis", "RINO Hunters", "Conservatives for legitimate GOP Leadership", and a renewed interest in "Stop the National Popular Vote".  That last BTW, to repudiate the LEFTIST PROGRESSIVE efforts of Anuzis to change the electoral process, something that if effective in 2000 would have given us an Al Gore.

Scary stuff.  Saul Anuzis for Al Gore.

In all of these groups the discussion is not ending, and the talk is also not limited to the groups alone.  There are a number of websites popping up that we may highlight in coming days, demonstrating a history of corruption by Saul, Bobby, Et al.

Bobby can pretend all he wants that he maintains integrity, when the most corrupt actions in current memory is happening right now under his watch.  The worst cheating, and an attempt to manipulate the votes of grass roots voters in recent years by officials when THEIR guy didn't show a decisive win continues.  Heck, even Mark Brewer is getting jealous about Schostaks new found ability for corruption, and is challenging him to a twitter duel through communications guy Matt Frendewey.

Brewer is mad because he no longer has the monopoly on shady underhandedness in Michigan.

And Schostak and company sold out to the dark side CHEAP.

One Lousy Delegate, to show their hand, their complicity, betrayal to the base, and their "third world" politics.

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less."

"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."

"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master -- that's all."

It's no secret around here that Saul hasn't ever impressed me. Especially with his, "I'm not running a campaign against Michael Steele. Mmhmm, even on here.

The thing I like about conservatives is, we tend to not put up with the disrespectful or unlawful if found in our midst.
