Lets take the logical end to your position as a supporter of this letter.  Lets assume "equality" for marriage is achieved.

Would you agree that a church must then perform a marriage of two men if the government says they must?

It should not matter to conservatives that a disingenuous person can intentionally twist words and then interpret the twistings for something that was clearly not the intent of the speaker.  

What conservatives need to do is attack this Saul Alinsky tactic that the progressives have adopted and not pile on like a bunch of lemmings.  The result is that they end up using your words to lend credibility to their lies.

I've got an idea, grow a pair and stand up for the truth.  If you think obliging the left's arguments is going to either endear you to them or get them to play fair you are sadly and dangerously mistaken. What you have done is emboldened them by illustrating that the dishonesty they have engaged in worked exactly as planned.
