I fail to see any reason why any law to advancing Freedom to Work should be limited to only teachers.

How hard is it for someone to display just a teensy-weensy bit of backbone and write this down and submit it for a vote:

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT: Compulsory membership in any organization, such as a guild or union, which is required as a condition of private or public employment within the State of Michigan shall be illegal effective immediately.

Yeah, I know that focusing only on teachers is political payback for the Scott recall. Anyone with a pulse knows that.

But how committed are the Republicans in Lansing to getting Michigan's economy going again if they avoid tackling this boat anchor (read:closed shop rule)?
