The Lansing State Journal is another news entity running a "Balance the budget" game, see here.

Sure, it's a simplistic game, but it really does play on some interesting scenarios.

What is one of the most simplistic outcomes?

How about the implementation of Governor Snyders' Corporate Tax and only a 10% across-the-board expenditure cut netting a $1.7 billion dollar budget surplus.

Like I said, that would be the most simplistic.

Have fun with it, and let's see what your results are by posting them in the comments.

Going through their linear thinking "selections", taxes are pretty much the only solution for them.

We'll see who takes the fall but my guess it will be the police chief taking the blame and this time you won't see Virg opening his pie hole on every damn tv station in the state.

I created a $5.2 Billion surplus and significantly cut taxes.  Now I just have to flee the state.
