I'll keep my comments "family-friendly", but let's just say that the good senator broke my B.S.-meter with the sheer quantity of what she was shoveling during her time on the air.

A.Y.P. numbers that are not only abysmal, but downright criminal.

Same for graduation rates.

Ditto for the shenanigans that schools do to push under/non-performing students out of the door.

I view this push as a "Hail Mary" effort by the educational establishment to save some vestige of the Life of Riley they once enjoyed.
