    Well written.  I recall a saying: "no amount of money can allow a man to buy integrity, yet he can sell it for five cents."  While it is sad to see yet another public servant so easily make a pledge and ignore it when his circumstances change, it is perhaps the most appalling that we, his constituents, have allowed him to do so with relative few consequences.  How long will we sit by numb and ignorant to all the lies that our elected officials commit?  Its time for us to wake up.  Its time for those elected be held accountable for their words and actions.  Time to come home Kuipers.  Your time as a public servant is done.  You have lost your ability to serve us.
