Most people who have read my posts know by now that my take on Congress is this: You have a very clearly delineated and defined role to fulfill.
Pretty simple.
Congress' power isn't willy-nilly, let's make this stuff up as we go along.
Article 1, Section 8.
Look it up.
It's all there clear as day.
Some people apparently had fallen asleep during that portion of Jr. High US Civics class.
Meet the 113th Congress and most people who consider themselves as "republican" who have obviously fallen into that category.
