Pete is obviously banking on the Party's coronation as a win against Sen. Stabenow.
Five candidates for the GOP senate primary will debate this weekend in Richland.
The Plainwell Patriots will be hosting the debate at 7 p.m. Saturday at Gracespring Bible Church, 8643 Gull Road, Richland, said Cindy Gramat, founder of the Tea Party group.
The candidates attending include:
Scotty Boman, former Libertarian candidate for Senate and current college instructor, teaching physics at Wayne County Community College and astronomy at Macomb Community College.
Clark Durant, Hillsdale College, founder of Imprimis and co-founder of the Cornerstone Schools.
Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan and straw poll winner of the Dewitt Debate.
Randy Hekman, former Kent County prosecutor and juvenile court judge.
Peter Konetchy, software developer and businessman.
