The Michigan Legislature is attempting to give retoractive authority, via SB 1404 - the State Intelligence Center Act, to Fusion Centers which are set up to spy on Michigan residents. This bill would allow these spying centers to put together such useful reports as The Missouri Information Analysis Center ("MIAC") report which labeled supporters of Ron Paul dangerous and suggested that people who wanted to Audit the Fed and lower taxes were potential terrorists.
Their convoluted, Marxist "logic" proceeds something like this:
If you want lower taxes, you want to take money away from the government.
If the government has less money it becomes less powerful so you must be a lunatic, terrorist.
