I can't stand condescension.
Especially when its used in the face of an article that begins with a lie The title "'Filthy homosexuals': Michigan GOP leader Dave Agema's Facebook post sparks furor " SCREAMS out to the casual reader that MI Committeeman Dave Agema made such a statement. I was amazed he would say such a thing. Amazed I tell ya! Funny.. he never did. He quoted someone who actually said: "Part of the homosexual agenda is to get the public to affirm their filthy lifestyle, as one homosexual admitted in the October 1987 homosexual rally on Washington: "We are no longer seeking just a right to privacy and a protection from wrong. We also have a right -- as heterosexual Americans already have -- to see government and society affirm our lives"Huh.. so very different. Yet when challenged, instead of acknowledging the error in reporting, the editorial board for MLIVE simply deletes comments they do not like. I can understand that on someone's personal blog, but this entity presents itself as a news source. Editor Dave Murrays says: "Readers,Yeah ok Dave. lets take a look at what got MY comments ALL Deleted. Go below the fold. (704 words in story) Full Story |
