Still something to joke about, Stupid? By Corinthian Scales, Section Multimedia
In 1971, homosexual activist Frank Kameny worked with the Gay Liberation Front collective to demonstrate against the APA's convention. At the 1971 conference, Kameny grabbed the microphone and yelled, "Psychiatry is the enemy incarnate. Psychiatry has waged a relentless war of extermination against us. You may take this as a declaration of war against you." (6 comments) Comments >> By JGillman, Section News
A homosexual Judge's violation of California Voters started a trend as the Activist courts attempt to take over legislative authority from powerless congress and state legislatures.
Michigan should give a great big Middle Mitten Finger to the Judge who thinks he is above the law. Tar and feathers is more than a fashion statement appropriate for such activism. Mlive is reporting that an activist judge has taken it upon himself to go against common sense, the nature of his job, and the will of the people, and strike down the ban on benefits for same sex couples: "The decision from U.S. District Judge David S. Lawson grants an injunction which prevents Gov. Rick Snyder and state officials from enforcing the 2011 law prohibiting cities, counties and other public employers from offering benefits to same-sex domestic partners.Every cousin, brother, dog, can now be considered for those benefits. Really. Consider that SOME type of status must be obtained legally for any logical pursuit of such benefits. Without the ability to be 'married' the perverse crowd apparently has to simply make the claim. By striking down this ban, Lawson creates a set of problems going forward as we now must either get this puerile decision overturned (Calling Dr Schuette, Calling Dr. Schuette) or quickly define the parameters for "domestic partnership'. There is an alternate answer however. Eliminate ALL the benefits and let the 2 percenters explain to the real families what happened to their compensation plan. Fabulous. For Dennis Lennox. And maybe some things you could really care less about.
As Lennox goes on a personal campaign to destroy Decorated Veteran Dave Agema, the credibility he carries with some folks needs to be put back in check. A little background on this guy is in order. First off, Lennox is no dummy. He is a little queer, (Odd, but I reserve that the matching definition could be that of the reader's own thoughts) but he knows the political game better than most children his age. In fact, a little better than many who have been in the Republican party for some time, as he plays THEM so well. He is a CMU grad or some such thing, and was vice president at one time of the Young Americans for freedom, a group that was once sanctioned (and relieved by the administration)for anti-homosexual chalkings prior to a veterans support event. It was rumored the chalkings were an attempt to drum up 'news' by SOMEONE in that YAF chapter. It made national news, and attention was given. A lot of attention. Almost as much as the fabled attacks by university officials while doing the Gary Peters video taping thing, at one point earning him a label of "mentally unstable and a potential "campus shooter" because of his aggressive, in your face tactics". Which was false, and drew the ACLU to his side, yet was likely a label he sought. It also made national media. Lennox went to the 2008 RNC event in MN as an alternate delegate. I was there as well. On the way in during one session he happened to be walking up the same route on the outside of the security fences. Along that route, was every national leftist blogger in the US. He made it a point to stop and announce himself to quite a few of of them. to make sure THEY know who he was and gave them 'official' interviews as a Republican going in. At that time of course, he had other things going on as well that would add to his 'national persona'. Continued below the fold (24 comments, 2094 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section News
If anyone wishes to know how even using 'truthful' statements, an agenda through media can be moved forward, it is shown today in Traverse City's paper of record. I fully expect an upcoming editorial decrying such intolerance by elected officials, and perhaps even further, a call for a countywide ordinance not unlike the Traverse City ordinance recently passed.
~ posted here and elsewhere February 13, 2011 ~ Today's Record Eagle contained a 'hit piece' I knew was coming. Front page news. And with a bad picture of me. Titled Commissioner: Pedophilia linked to Homosexuality - Comments made during official business visit, the article relates my calling "homosexuality a perversion" during a visit to the health department orientation. The visit was in the offices of Fred Keeslar, the health department director. The visit which had in attendance myself, Fred, and one other employee. A visit in which a number of things were discussed, including services we provide, the possibility of growth, and some data that demonstrated where we are (as a county) year to year in communicable diseases. One of those diseases discussed was HIV. More below (6 comments, 1512 words in story) Full Story
