Still something to joke about, Stupid? By Corinthian Scales, Section Multimedia
In 1971, homosexual activist Frank Kameny worked with the Gay Liberation Front collective to demonstrate against the APA's convention. At the 1971 conference, Kameny grabbed the microphone and yelled, "Psychiatry is the enemy incarnate. Psychiatry has waged a relentless war of extermination against us. You may take this as a declaration of war against you." (6 comments) Comments >> By JGillman, Section News
A homosexual Judge's violation of California Voters started a trend as the Activist courts attempt to take over legislative authority from powerless congress and state legislatures.
Michigan should give a great big Middle Mitten Finger to the Judge who thinks he is above the law. Tar and feathers is more than a fashion statement appropriate for such activism. Mlive is reporting that an activist judge has taken it upon himself to go against common sense, the nature of his job, and the will of the people, and strike down the ban on benefits for same sex couples: "The decision from U.S. District Judge David S. Lawson grants an injunction which prevents Gov. Rick Snyder and state officials from enforcing the 2011 law prohibiting cities, counties and other public employers from offering benefits to same-sex domestic partners.Every cousin, brother, dog, can now be considered for those benefits. Really. Consider that SOME type of status must be obtained legally for any logical pursuit of such benefits. Without the ability to be 'married' the perverse crowd apparently has to simply make the claim. By striking down this ban, Lawson creates a set of problems going forward as we now must either get this puerile decision overturned (Calling Dr Schuette, Calling Dr. Schuette) or quickly define the parameters for "domestic partnership'. There is an alternate answer however. Eliminate ALL the benefits and let the 2 percenters explain to the real families what happened to their compensation plan. Fabulous. (37 comments) Comments >> |
