It's been long reported here by myself and other writers the tragedy that has befallen, what was at one time, a very beautiful and thriving metropolis within the State of Michigan, before the democrats had taken over.
After that sea-change event had occurred, the you-know-what hit the fan. Dependency on government assistance shot up at an exponential rate. Democratic "leaders" succeeded in polarizing residents based upon race. The public school system reported an astounding 25% rate. As in the number of students who have successfully graduated. I'm not even going to mention those 25% who cannot even actually read or write, yet were still given a diploma anyway. People became accustomed to electing corrupt and inept leadership at the school board, city and county level. Taxes began to creep up. Then they began to pile up on one another. Those who had the means (read: the producing class), packed their bags and left town. Some just plain skipped the bag packing part and simply left. Those corrupt and inept elected officials were finding it progressively difficult even managing a simple budget. Governor Snyder's plan to hit up Michigan Taxpayers for more of their money isn't looking very promising.
Just last week, Rep. Gilbert's bill to shake down pensioners; HB 4480, JUST cleared the Michigan House 56-53 and moved over to the Michigan Senate. This week, things just got a little more interesting.
