Have you ever been talking with someone and suddenly your mind goes blank? Can't recall what your next point was going to be?
Well, in case you've not already been told, what's-his-name...you know, that guy running for president...that one from Texas? No, not that grumpy old coot who wants to shut down the Fed. That other one. You know! Good hair. Talks funny. Carries a bit too much swagger. Barry..Terry...Kerry...!!! What's his name!? Well, that guy - boy, did HE screw up last night at the GOP presidential debate in, um...you know - that state that looks like a mitten. Jeez! Can't remember...it's, um...you know, surrounded by big lakes, where they make cars. Good heavens! What's wrong with me!!?? Anywho, that dude from Texas was up on stage with all the other candidates and he seemed to be doing okay compared to previous debate performances. He was going to make a point about the federal agencies he was going to close down once elected. He ticked off the Department of Education and the Department of Commerce then, well, What's-His-Name forgot the third one! Drew a complete blank!! Can you believe it!?? What a dufus! That idiot from Texas! How stupid can you be??!! Oh! Funny stuff! Well, I guess this whole nomination thing is over. I like that black dude. You know, the one with the chic problem - or at least the media tells us he has a chic problem. That guy. I like him but let's face it, he's just not ready to be president. All the rest of those guys on the stage, they just don't have a prayer. Only that tall white dude with the slicked back hair, smooth talking style, you know - that Mormon guy - he's the one. Slam dunk. Game over.
