Some of you may be aware that in 2008, I broke the story about Nancy Pelosi's criminal pursuits and relationship with a T-Boone Pickens' enterprise.
Her efforts of course, crushed the middle class and working poor who had to dish out the $4 a gallon for their transportation to work. All in the name of "Clean Energy", not only a term for green energy pursuits, but also the name of the company she bought into May 25 of 2007, at its IPO. The country suffered long and hard for the sake of a few more shekels in the purse of the former speaker, while much of the media looked in the other direction. A weak interview on the subject by Tom Brokaw is available, where she poo-poos the insignificant amounts invested in the company which spent over $3,000,000 towards promoting a contract that could have rewarded her on the order of facebook or Ebay.(if it had succeeded.) Heaven forbid the hundreds of millions of dollars the networks (including a presumed fair and balanced FOX) that Mr Pickens was shoveling out be interrupted by a negative look in his direction. And now, with congress being looked at for its insider trading element, will we see a rewind and look back at the votes that put the bling on blinky, in ways we could only dream of for ourselves? And Now Michelle Malkin notes Pickens is back with a Pelosi Deal, and our Republican lawmakers might help her along. (1 comment) Comments >> |
