    Boogiemen and Line Jumpers

I suppose that true conservatives are considered  interlopers nowadays.

Even within the Republican ranks, good conservatives who carry strong convictions, and won't be bullied to become moderate are labeled as 'extreme'. Labeled in ways that are more harsh than what they would call the reversed polarity party of the Democrats; a party THEY SAY that sites like this should be attacking, before challenging Republicans.

At the convention as I was speaking with a 1st district delegate and past chair, I was reminded that we are expected to stay in line until fully vested in all manner of the process. Though she would not acknowledge the suggested verbiage of "waiting our turn", she said nothing that would support anything but a path of subservience to the powers-that-be first. "You cant't just jump in and be chair, Jason!" She exclaimed after losing patience with the successful whip efforts in our district. I wonder where she was in 2010?

I didn't hear her say then; "You can't just jump in and be GOVERNOR!" to the guy who had WON with 64% of Republicans opposing him.

I guess its just about the money.  Cause that makes it OK.

Jen Kuznicki picked up on Defrocked priest of the MiGOP Saul Anuzis' latest 'SaulFolks' thing. Even after being shown to the door, and witnessing a nearly successful follow through THIS TIME for the same reasons, he still doesn't get it.  She Writes:
" .. Instead, as I show here, Saul hasn't learned a damn thing.

Bobby Schostak re-elected as Michigan GOP's  State Chairman

Congratulations to my good friend Bobby who was re-elected to serve a second term as Chairman.  An interesting coalition of some Tea Party activists, Liberty Movement folks and others with alternative agenda's rallied together to make this a closer race than it should have been.

Notice how Saul does not mention Reaganites, Conservatives, or Constitutionalists, yet that was what his good friend Bobby was challenged by.  Todd Courser came within less than 3 1/2% of winning the chairman position.  Instead, Saul suggests that Frankenberry and the Boogieman conspired with an alternative `agenda.' "

    Spoooky ....

There is something else.  Saul's comment actually reveals the great disconnect between those who had run the Republican party into a state of near irrelevance prior to the re-infusion of tea folk and true conservatives into the process.  His "closer race than it should have been" reveals a blind spot, or an inability to learn a lesson.

Stupidity should be painful. It keeps one's hands from repeatedly going to a hot stove.

We wonder if in his case, it has not been painful enough.

Even a significant political figure anymore? His actions have shown that he will work against the conservatives in order to desperately salvage any scrap of power he can.  He lost a ton of respect from those who actually pay attention and that was quite evident by the election of Dave Agema!
