Another Hoffa lives in denial of his thug legacy.

    Detroit News

"We're trying to keep my grandfather's reputation back where it belongs," said his grandson, Geoffrey Hoffa, a physician assistant in Arizona. "Most people hear the name Jimmy Hoffa and have a negative image. They hear the Letterman jokes. It's a shame that people don't know more about what James R. Hoffa did and that he always stood up for the underdog."

I wonder why the negative image keeps coming up when Hoffa is mentioned...

Underdogs? They're called goonions for a reason, Geoffrey. It's also why Chicago/White House thuggery comes home to roost with the Johnson/Smoot MDP leadership infighting.

Just plain dumb waste of money.

Hoffa was president of the Teamsters union until 1971. Zerilli has been promoting a book, "Hoffa Found." A website says the book will reveal details about Hoffa's death.

Son Jim Hoffa, the Teamsters' president, recently told The News that Zerilli's tip may have some legitimacy because Zerilli was a top figure in the Detroit mob.

"When he says something, you have a tendency to believe it," Hoffa said. "This isn't just some guy that wants to sell a book."

He noted that repeated searches have given the family false hope.

"It's very hard on the family to go through this again and again and again," he said. "It's very hard because people make jokes on television."

Hard on the family?  Then stop being an attention whore for goonion publicity, Jim.  Senile old farts peddling books aren't credible "tips," you thug parasite.
