    Credit where it is due.

In fact, I should have eight other press releases similar to this one.  Tim Walberg (CD7)yesterday, voted in favor of legislation that would provide funding for the National Park Service and the Veterans Affairs Department. However, both pieces of legislation failed by not gathering enough Democrats to reach the two-thirds required for final passage.  We have discussed this (quite appropriate)strategy on these pages recently.  Walberg says:

"President Obama and Congressional Democrats are already on record as supporting a piecemeal approach to keeping the government funded. It's disappointing some of my colleagues in the House do not feel as strongly about veteran services and disability claims, national parks and other areas of importance.

I remain committed to finding a compromised way to move this country forward. We deserve better."

    Solid.

Reality, is that Obama and Reid have said they will not negotiate.  The GOP led US House is completely in the correct mode holding out specific funding legislation for what might be perceived as an immediate need, while other negotiations (and hopefully complete dissolution of Obamacare) are being made.

Any suffering as a result of non funding is the result of the Democrats' stubbornness, and the President's absolutism.

Since when have they held true to anything they have said?  It always amuses me to read those on the Right cry hypocrisy! when they know damned well that The Left have no standards other than the Ends justify the Means, of which, is about total control.

The GOP led US House is completely in the correct mode holding out specific funding legislation for what might be perceived as an immediate need, while other negotiations (and hopefully complete dissolution of Obamacare) are being made.

On surface, that does paint a happy face on the true situation that has resulted from 25 alleged GOP c*@%suckers in the Senate voting with Harry Reid's "Team D" for Obamacare.

The House has already held that "NO RobertsCare" line, and even did this by fully funding the Federal Leviathan without trimming any nonessential spending.  The farm was already given away.  In other words, y'all went and done shown your asses in the deal.

Sen. Ted Cruz R-TX, warned America about that.

Yes, Barry and Dingy Harry own the partial shutdown, however, "Team R" in the Senate gave them the keys.  There's the problem.  The House now looks like a bunch of owned sheep in damage control mode.  F#@% the DNC - let the Federal Leviathan rot.  Oh noes! The parks are closed! My vacay is on hold!?!?  Bummer - shared sacrifice.  But, but, but, the veterans!?!?!  Thank you for your service, however, Shopshire type Trotskyites voting DNC need to share in their self-inflicted misery, too.

Upside?  By that one cloture vote, Mitch McConnell is the problem that the sleazy Paul Family now own, too.  Tough break on records catching up to the serial bloviating Flip-flopper.  Scratch off 2016 from thought, "less bad" Rand.  Playing the cheap hippie free the weed LP card along with the Mush McConnell RINO's against the Conservatives like Papa Ronulan did for decades just don't sell no more with informed voters.
