CD-11 Republican Candidate Kerry Bentivolio Goes Unchallenged?

What an awesome development.  Kerry Bentivolio (previously iCaucus endorsed), just may be the only Republican running in CD-11.  Presidential primary washout and Romney water carrier, Thesaurus McModerate, appears to not have collected the necessary 1,000 valid signatures to be on August primary ballot.

The shocking development could keep the five-term Republican U.S. House member from running again if he cannot convince the Michigan Secretary of State's office that he collected more than 1,000 valid signatures.

    Whooot!  My fingers are crossed.

Please, feel free to visit Mr. Kerry Bentivolio's campaign website by clicking, here.

    He didn't pay the 100-bucks?

    Nice campaign website, BTW.

I'll probably get burned on this (again), but I really hopes that he follows through on his campaign promises.

Another group that promised to require constitutional authorization before the last election
...and we all know how well that one worked!

    Remember this:

    "We will govern
differently than past Congresses of both
parties. We will require that every bill
    contain a citation of Constitutional
    authority.
    We will give all Representatives
and citizens at least three days to read the
bill before a vote. We will make sure that
the floor schedule and operations reflect the
priority of revitalizing the economy, and
ensure there is an open process that makes
it easier - not harder - to eliminate
    unnecessary spending on any legislation
    that spends the people's money."
