    . . . I am very, very selective in applying the RINO tag to anyone; overuse dilutes the effectiveness below the usefulness threshold.  In my experience, the distinction between a "soft republican" and a "true RINO" is whether or not we can afford to wait until the next primary to remove the offender in question.
