Its a new day folks!  The southern half of Michigan is now enjoying the benefits of global warming in the winter.  Folks have their deck chairs out, and the sun is beating down a new tan on the sol worshiping sunscreen slathered hard bodies at all of the local beaches and riversides, cause its another scorcher.. whew..

    What?

Oh pardon me.  Let me reel that back in just a wee bit before I embarrass myself with a remarkable lack of knowledge about what is happening around here.  Well, you know what I mean.  I mean 'knowledge', as in 'open eyes,' and even the slightest observation skills.  Senses to be sure!  By golly I need to FEEL what is going on don't I?  I mean, really FEEL what is going on in a way that leave no question how I should talk about it, report on it, or perhaps ACT on it.  In fact, maybe in the way that our junior Senator does:

"..the lack of global warming has left desperate politicians looking like fools.

"I feel global warming when I fly," says Senator Debbie Stabenow.  .."

    Looking?

Oh my.  Those nice boys at the Michigan view certainly are gracious. Undoubtedly, polite to the end.

No, dear readers, the woman is a moron.  A trainable moron, but a moron just the same.  And one who can be trained much like a dancing monkey for an organ grinder. ~ more below ~

Given a chance to redeem herself slightly in the view of voters by offering the amendment to strike a controversial IRS provision from the health care bill cannot take away the contradictory manner in which she operates her position of responsibility.  A position I might add, that is not well suited to a person of her questionable caliber.

    She has handlers though.

She has not the capability to pull off a bow to onlookers without externalities holding her up.  The meat puppet senator's 'machine' being a strong labor backed mechanism, has already begun to feed her the topical corrections that will guide her towards a more favorable place come November 2012.

Start with the Fire and Police Unions:

Twenty fire departments in Michigan have $1.6 million in federal grants coming their way.

The cash comes through the Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

It'll be used to help needs in the areas of equipment, training and staffing.

The grants were announced this week by U.S. Sens. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow.

    Check.

Then, making sure that the battery legacy of the former mis-handler of Michigan stays true:

Washington -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow plans to unveil legislation later this week to boost electric vehicles sales.

The Lansing Democrat is circulating a 21-page-draft of her bill -- the Charging America Forward Act -- that would give the U.S. Energy Department another $2 billion in grants "for the manufacturing of advanced batteries and components, and provide facility funding awards" for vehicle batteries, hybrid electrical systems and components.

Vroom!  Those manufacturing jobs have 'big labor' written all over them. Never mind the as yet demonstrated money pit electric subsidies have proven themselves to be.  If Guido hands her a bill to push, she KNOWS what's good for her, and it is presented as written.

But, good for her might also be a diet of upgrades in stature.  Or maybe a tofurky sandwich.

Her support for the small farm killing SB510 "food safety act" got her a prime spot as the CHAIR of an ag committee, which means she is TOO important to lose, right?  Her reward for being a good little meat puppet of the insects running the US Senate brings her back to Michigan:

Senator Stabenow is the new Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.  She met with local fruit processors and producers who are creating agriculture jobs in Michigan. She then met with local shoppers while touring the Indoor Farmers Market in the Village at Grand Traverse Commons.

"Agriculture supports one in four jobs in our state. As Chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, it's my job to help those companies stay successful and to keep growing. Today's visit was an opportunity for me to meet with some of our great Northern Michigan fruit growers and processors and listen to local residents at Traverse City's wonderful farmers market," said Senator Stabenow.

Centralized control of farms only resulted in the demise of a few (30million plus) folks when attempted before.  The jackbooted thugs operating under the authority of the new law SHE supported have already shown a propensity towards hostile treatment of private growers and producers of the foods we eat.  The video in one of the links above, has a farmer asking "why would people be involved in farming if they see what is in store for them?"

Good question.  And one we have seen with regard to Medicine (something the MORON supported) as well.

Going forward, expect all types of 'elevated importance to be placed on the Woman affectionately known as the heat miser around these parts.  Be prepared with the knowledge of her past deeds and depth of her incompetence and spread the word as needed.  She should not be re-elected to another 5 minutes of public service, as the damage she has already brought us is apparently something she cannot FEEL like the desperate need for a change we have for proper representation in the US Senate.

there are couple of contenders considering a run against her.... Anuzis and Land.  Anyone but "the cow" should be the banner on this race.

regarding your comment that "it's my job to help those companies stay successful."

This comment only serves to highlight your position as the stupidest person in the senate.  A position you worthily inherited when Joe Biden became vice president.

It is doubtful whether you possess the intellectual capacity to count your mammary glands and come up with the same number twice.

I would like to somehow show you the error of your ways but I gave up trying to communicate with gold fish at the age 4.

I pity you. You are a blithering idiot. But at least you are in D.C. among your peers.

Thank you and God bless you!

    Unadulterated use of hyperbole.

I just want to be very clear that while there are people who might be qualified to hold such a position, she is NOT one of them.  If not for the extreme amounts of money pumped in from labor groups and special interest from all over the country, she wouldn't have a chance a handless man might have with a rubix cube..

It is not HER we will be fighting, but those who use her as their tool.

    Pfizer (none / 0) (#6)
by RushLake on Thu Feb 03, 2011 at 11:06:00 AM EST
About four years ago Pfizer was expanding facilities in Ann Arbor. Usually, when a business expands facilities, it fills those facilities with employees who contribute to the tax base in the "community". In AA, many of those employees would probably vote democrap. A neighbor of mine at Rush Lake was the contractor engineering manager for the project. She's hardly L'il mouthed off one day in front of a microphone about the evil pharmaceutical companies and how they screw the little people. The next day, Pfizer pulled the plug on the project. My neighbor's responsibilities changed from construction to dismantling the facilities already put in place. Pfizer moved much of its projected work to higher tax Connecticut. Clueless Jenny was no where to be found.

that while most of what was said here is completely true, Stabenow might be the smartest of the two current US Senators from Michigan.

Maybe if she tried it in an airplane instead of riding that industrial strenght shop broom she normally pilots there would be a noticable difference.
Heard the other day that Hoekstra is contemplating taking a run at her largeness. That could work. He has name recognition and he knows the District of Corruption. Next task is to get somebody decent to take on Commrade Lenin in 2014.
