I was not aware that Michigan's own, Debbie "The Heat Miser" Stabenow, was one of the top five democrats in the senate. According to the Hill dot com, the top five democrats in the senate, Reid, Durban, Schumer, Murray and Stabenow sent a letter to John Boehner telling him not to bother repealing Obamacare because they would block it in the senate.

The Hill's article is actually focused on Boehner's response.

Senators Reid, Durbin, Schumer, Murray and Stabenow:
Thank you for reminding us - and the American people - of the backroom deal that you struck behind closed doors with `Big Pharma,' resulting in bigger profits for the drug companies, and higher prescription drug costs for 33 million seniors enrolled in Medicare Part D, at a cost to the taxpayers of $42.6 billion.
The House is going to pass legislation to repeal that now. You're welcome.

Until I read the letter from MSU's President, I was also unaware that Stabenow knew agriculture "from farm to fork."

Betting a few also knew she knew bovine scat though.

Doesn't say much for the depth of their bench. Be a big year next year for the Commie Lib Progressives. Including Uncle Fester from Vermont and Joe Joe the Liberal boy from Conneticut they have to defend 23 seats to the Republicans defending 10. Guess who is going to be at the top of the MUST DEFEAT list in Michigan? You guessed it right and you win a cookie. Her largness will be going the way of the Granholm dodo. I hope she enjoys the little time she has left. But once again I must observe that with elected officials like this Michigan has proven to the world that you don't have to be smart or even able to tie your shoes (even if you can't see them) to be a member of the US Senate. Guess dumb people all over the world are encouraged by that.
