Glenn Wilson Is Costing ME Money

Glenn Wilson just cost me another $25.  Money I really didn't expect to have to spend.

Not that I didn't want to support Benishek, or think he was not worth the $25 contribution.  No.. Rather I didn't expect he would HAVE to spend a great amount of capital to win a race that should be so eminently winnable given the way in which Bart Stupak handled his affairs.  The spending levels shouldn't HAVE to be so high, as the corrective juggernaut which is fueled by a responsible government sentiment is just now fully underway.

I must give full credit to Jason Allen for his understanding the consequence of fighting among ourselves, and what copuld be viewed as self destructing because of a stroked ego.  He took the high road.  He understood oh-so-well, how its possible to wreck all that you stand for by allowing a personal, but misplaced sense of self to override a bit of common sense.  How splitting hairs over 'perfect' stands on some issues before a congressional candidate, might be used only to split votes in an election.

And maybe lose a few gains that were made in the process.

Splitting those votes between people who are nearly identical but for the party designation has become for some, the only excuse for not doing the right thing.  With folks talking about the 'two party system,' and 'Republicans did this to us too,' and other reasons to NOT coalesce behind a reasonable candidate who is anything BUT the beltway.  Supporters who instead of taking the little wins with the RIGHT direction, instead build in a threshold in their own minds, so unreachable by either pragmatic or even remotely reasonable standards, that GOD himself wouldn't get their support.. if he ran as a Republican.

    And they MUST be right.

The Democrats say so.  The Democrats, knowing he is indeed the prized pony.  The gift horse that ought not be doubted.  That cog in the wheel of unrealistic imaginings which might in fact produce a Democrat win come November 02, 2010.  If ONLY they keep him propped up and help him sell his message.   They have begun to campaign FOR HIM.  They know every vote that goes for Glenn Wilson is not a vote stolen from their mule McDowell, but rather from Benishek, the man who carries the Republican flag this cycle.

So here we are..   Glenn Wilson, though not in my district, purposes me through his continued action in Michigan's 1st congressional district race, to skip a dinner out, a night of bowling, an office gift in the next Christmas pool, or a sample of whatever scientific wizardry one can buy, to spend that $25.  What one who looks at issues alone would see as merely family infighting becomes an unnecessary expense.

It is my choice to be sure..  Or is it?

My prediction?  At this point it may be too late (other than a full blown endorsement by Glenn Wilson for Benishek) to affect the actual numbers.  Given his participation and probably claiming 5-7% of the vote in November, it will leave a near perfect split. Benishek, who avoided a costly, and emotional recount process with Allen in August, will not only need my $25, but yours as well, simply to have the recount teams and attorneys to battle for just a few votes.  A battle that the Dems will wage, if only to prove the point that we are not ready for conservative leadership.

Wilson is a sock puppet of Mark Brewer's and the Michigan Democrap Party.  Nothing more nothing less.
Mark Brewer is a complete scum bag!!!

M-33 corridor between Mio and Atlanta. My experience in almost 40 years of owning a 2nd home in the Atlanta area is that there are a lot of defiantly independent "thinkers" (union democrat retirees) in the area. A lot of "Republicans" always voted for Stupak because "he seems like he knows what he's doin'"; I suspect that those "Republicans" and defiantly independent "thinkers" are what is behind Brewer's....er, uh Wilson's game. The "senior" centers over here seem to be more democrap party headquarters.

Wilson has too many disconnects to be... (none / 0) (#3)

...considered anything other than a rather unpolished fear monger that preys upon the fringe society.  Even with giving the benefit of doubt, Glenn Wilson is merely living his fifteen minutes of fame that his website proudly boasts himself as "the "Cowboy" of the wireless industry".  This becomes evident when looking at what Glenn is targeting with his "Slapping both Party's upside the head" rhetoric.

Rallying "the nations food system might collapse" type folks?  Eeesch!  Then Glenn Wilson claims to be championing campaign finance reform?  As stated in the video, Glenn Wilson raised $75,000 in one month, but won't disclose where or who the donors are from out of Michigan.  Is that "Change you can believe in" or just hypocrisy?

Even Rich Carlson finally showed the wisdom to bail on the alleged "Cowboy" of Northern Michigan Wi-Fi government contracts at Kirtland Community College where Glenns' wife, Tracie Wilson states her credentials at KCC for the creation of Michigan Access as Accounting Manager/CFO/Owner, a subsidiary of M33 Access.

    Further hypocrisy?

In Sault Ste. Marie on August 24, 2010 Glenn Wilson says, "If that puts me into bankruptcy so be it.  We cannot take our fortunes with us and my kids can make their own.  I'm putting it all on the line for our country and that's why I'm here.  Plain and simple"

Then in Onaway on October 8, 2010 Glenn Wilson says, "I wouldn't risk everything I own.  I wouldn't risk my company.  And, I wouldn't risk the stability of allowing Nancy Pelosi to keep that gavel."

*note: The above video is for full context.  For expediency of Glenns' quote above go here.

Okay, I'll just put that one HUGE waffle aside... riiiiiiiiight.  Glenn would be wonders in DC, wouldn't he?

I'm sorry, but what I see in Glenn Wilson is a multi-millionaire that agrees with Dr. Benishek's positions but doesn't have the mainstream America appeal that Dr. Benishek has.

Perhaps, if Glenn Wilson would have chosen to be a transparent candidate with disclosing whose backing him financially and showing earnest within a movement of restoring conservatism in America, then I wouldn't view him as a self-serving individual pressing palms across CD-1 for the next M33 Access contract.

There really is so much more that Glenn Wilson needs to be vetted on and undoubtedly will.

To put your money where your mouth is...maybe if you got off your duff and away from that acrid keyboard of yours, Dan Benishek would be leading this race by 30 points, which he isn't...in fact, I'll make a prediction for you:  Benishek finishes 3rd...

So let's all go out and vote for "R"...just for "R"'s sake...you think this is an ego trip for Glenn, and you don't even know the man...and don't lie to us and say you do, I've been on his staff for 10 weeks, haven't seen you at all...

First thing I did when I got on the "Independence" last Tuesday was give Tracie $100 for the campaign, and I'm a volunteer.. have been all this time, THAT is a contribution, sir..

The past week has been 24/7, because Glenn asked, and he deserves to be heard...not silenced...
