I've not written in a while for a simple reason. It's becoming increasingly difficult to simply keep up with an Administration seemingly hell-bent on destroying the country we once knew and "fundamentally transforming" it into something entirely unrecognizable. And the scariest part of all? We don't know with certainty exactly what our puppet president and his handlers are transforming us into. Today, it's difficult to pay attention to the news and not become entirely despondent. In addition to a tragic domestic agenda, the puppet's masters are systematically dismantling our national defense and abandoning our once stalwart allies overseas. Just today the puppet's teleprompter directed him to announce we're stabbing allies Poland and The Czech Republic in the back and putting them at substantial risk of attack by not installing previously promised missile defense systems in their countries. Russia's shadow dictator, Putin, has been threatening his immediate neighbors in Ukraine and Georgia and the Poles and Czechs must be coping with massive panic attacks. All of that comes on a day when the AP reports that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) believes Iran is now fully capable of creating a nuclear bomb and likely has the delivery system (missiles) to wreck unfathomable havoc in the Middle East and beyond. If our Intelligence agencies are worth a bucket of spit, they've known this for some time as well and have surely informed the puppet of their concerns. But the puppet's handlers have chosen to unilaterally surrender the security of the world and the United States.
Meanwhile, Time Magazine decides that the single greatest threat to our democracy is freedom and liberty. They wonder aloud if Glenn Beck is Bad for America? With typical cynicism, they attempt to diminish and marginalize Beck by stating he's just an entertainer who's really only in it for the money and the ego trip. Yep, just like Limbaugh - another entertainer. And their listeners/viewers are all racist, paranoid freaks for tuning in.
The smartest woman in the world, 3rd in line for the Presidency, tells her stenographers in the press that we need to "balance freedom and safety" and that she's concerned there's just a bit too much free speech out there. Says Nancy: "This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and ... I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made." Or perhaps have The State curb our enthusiasm for us by snuffing out political speech. Gradually so we won't notice, of course.
It's interesting to note that the violence that actually has occurred has been liberals against conservatives. First, the anti-socialized-medicine senior citizen protester having his finger bitten off by a rabid ObamaCare supporter. Second, the prolife activist gunned down by the pro-abortion activist in front of a high school. Oddly enough, I don't believe this was the violence Madam Speaker was referring to. But there is some good news out there. Openly Marxist Obama czar Van Jones was forced to resign from his influential post in the White House. ACORN is finally beginning to receive the scrutiny and de-funding this corruption-filled organization deserves. And a million plus patriots turned out in Washington last weekend to peacefully protest the direction the puppet is taking our country. There are early signs the home of conservatism, the GOP, will do quite well in the November 2010 elections. Right now, that seems to be our greatest hope. With so many unpopular items on the puppet's agenda between now and the midterm elections, the GOP should win back majorities by default. But there is hope the Party will find its voice, remember what it believes in and stands for, and, once back in power, follow through on its promises. There is hope for real and positive change in our near future. DCuz
