We at Right Michigan have always fallen onto the Pro-Life side of abortion. So it would be of no surprise that I would share information regarding Barack Hussein Obama's record. But the information I have gathered should be shared with all Americans. I have recently read an essay titled, "Obama's Abortion Extremism" and it was written by a gentlemen named Robert George.
Did you know that nearly 90% of abortions terminate accidental pregnancies? That means abortion is used as just another form of birth control. Barack Obama even advocated using an abortion as a means of birth control during a Town Hall Meeting in Johnstown, PA on March 29th, 2008 where he said, "I've got two daughters, 9 years old and 6 years old. If they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby." Senator Obama supports legislation that would revoke the Hyde Amendment. This amendment protects all pro-life citizens of the misuse of abortions by relieving them from the burden of paying for an abortion that is in no way necessary. Have you heard of the Freedom of Choice Act? Well Barack Obama has, in fact he has promised to sign the FOCA as one of the first pieces of legislation that would hit his desk. This act would abolish many of the abortion laws that you find from state to state. I might add that this would take power away from the state and create a larger bureaucracy in the making. Under this legislation there would be a federally guaranteed "fundamental right to abortion through the first nine months of pregnancy." No parental consent would be would be needed for your teenager to terminate her child's life and conceal such a sinful act. Furthermore, Senator Obama has opposed the ban on partial-birth abortions when he served in the Illinois State Legislature. And when the Supreme Court decision upheld such legislation to ban this procedure, Barack Obama had the audacity to condemn the high court. Just like in the writing I will also explain the procedure of a partial-birth abortion. A late-term baby is delivered allowing the child's head to remain within his/her mother. Next the abortionist will take scissors and insert them into the infant's skull near the base of the neck. Then there is a vacuum of the brain extracts. I can hardly write this procedure without feeling disgust. It is a procedure that is both inhumane and barbaric, but yet Senator Obama supports such a method if it means his child is not" punished with a baby." Yet, the medical community has concluded that this horrific procedure is not necessary to protect the mother's health. Read on...
Senator Obama, if he becomes President would cut Pro-Life pregnancy resource centers off from federal funding. These centers provide alternatives for pregnant women in need of help by clarifying abortion procedures, illuminating the idea of keeping the baby, or offering advice as far as adoption. But what is pro-choice about only entertaining the ideal of abortion and not offering positive alternatives?
The Pregnant Women Support Act is the signature bill of the Democrats for Life organization. It is designed to diminish abortions by providing aid for women facing crisis pregnancies. In fact, Senator Obama has opposed vital provisions of the PWSA that would provide coverage of the unborn children in the S-CHIP. He also opposes an element of the legislation that would inform women about the effects of an abortion. Though this act would not ban abortion or make it illegal it would at the very least educate women making it easier for them to make the choice not to abort their babies. The icing on the cake that disgusts me beyond all reason: While Senator Obama was a state Senator in Illinois; he opposed legislation to protect children who are born alive! Can you believe the audacity? -Just so his child would not have to be "punished with a baby." The legislation would have protected children who are born alive, "either as a result of an abortionist's unsuccessful effort to kill them in the womb or by the deliberate delivery of the baby prior to viability." While an identical bill surfaced in the United States Senate before Obama's time there, it passed unanimously as too cruel support. That means even John Kerry and Barbara Boxer both supported this legislation, but Barack Obama did not. There are even stories where babies had been left to die after failed abortion attempts. In fact a nurse found a baby dying in a soiled linen closet...but I guess that means if Barack had stumbled into the same closet he would have thought it alright to let it die and not give it any medical attention. I mean, he wouldn't want to be "punished with a baby." As far as embryonic stem-cell research, Barack Obama has co-sponsored a bill that would authorize a large-scale production of human embryos for use in bio-medical research. Again, there have never been advancements with embryonic stem-cell research, but there has been murder, as the embryos were killed during research. It doesn't sound to me that Barack truly advocates the choice to choose. It sounds more like he fully supports abortion. He has been working to make abortions easier and he has been working so that you have to pay for abortions that are used for birth control. What kind of man is this? Barack Obama deems abortion acceptable as long as his child or any child is not "punished with a baby." I pray you check the facts yourself and vote against Obama/Biden and embrace McCain/Palin. -Chaz Oswald
