A couple thoughts on tomorrow's vote.
First thing is, this isn't a game. If the Tigers, Wings, or Lions were involved everything would be different. They're not. This isn't a game. The odds makers in this Michigan primary, the news media, the sources you've trusted or paid attention to for years are going to try to sway your vote for whatever their own reasoning is. History is about to be made.
History is always being made, with or without the polls and the odds makers. God Bless those poor odds makers. The political pundits who depend on us to buy their worthless printed pages of guilt trips and liberal spin. I'm just glad I'm not trying to make a living selling my opinion as news that you can't live without
    .
We know, or at least the chances are pretty good no matter how many votes tend to the right in Michigan, we're not going to switch over to a red state. Whomever the Dems put out there will win Michigan's electoral votes. It's sad, but probably true.

I pledge, as I'm sure most of the readers here do, to vote in the general as close to my beliefs as possible. Come hell or high water, I will vote against Hillary, Obama, or Edwards. But that's not the issue right now.

This election isn't Osama Bin Laden ~vrs~ Hillary ~vrs~ Granholm ~vrs~RonPaul

That's why Now is the time to vote conservative. Forget about the polls and the rest of the nation and speak your heart.

Now is the time to explain to the State and the Nation, and to parents, forefathers, and to all who come after us. This is my vote for my beliefs. Only a presidential primary gives us such an opportunity to be heard.

And now for my plug. I'm voting Fred Thompson because he is the most plain speaking and honest candidate who comes closest to my own beliefs.

I don't believe in liberal politics. Living in Michigan these days feels like being in an test tube of tax and spend liberal lunacy.
I don't believe in liberal Republicans either.
    Go Fred Go!!

I was absentee number 80. Light turnout at the poll stations along my commute during the morning rush. (South Livingston, North Washtenaw)

    Major snowfall... (none / 0) (#2)

... here midstate and south.  That has to hold down turnout.  Wonder how that will shift the vote?

    Undecided (none / 0) (#5)

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I'm still undecided this morning.  I'm getting ready to go to the polls and I'm still waffling.  I want to vote my heart but my heart isn't in this -- so I'm tempted to vote strategically.  I guess I'll be praying my way to the ballot box.
