Pensions SHOULD be taxed, because to not tax them is to allow people to cheat income taxes.  Now, if you want to eliminate income taxes as a state and raise revenue elswhere, I'm fine with having no pension tax, but I doubt we'll eliminate income taxes in Michigan.

So, if the GOP doesn't have a supermajority and wants to give a tax cut and pay for it partially through increasing another tax and partially cutting spending, they can't do it without the Democrats.
