    . . . is quite convinced that the FairTax is the correct solution (as he has made clear to the MFTA leadership not too long ago).  However, implementing the FairTax is going to require some education of the people so that they'll actually understand it.  It's not that the FairTax is that complicated (it isn't, as you know, Jason), but it's that the socialist-progressives who value power more than liberty have done such a thorough job of demagoguing it that the populace needs to be un-educated so that they can be re-educated.
