      . . . if my information is correct, this plan was put together by a tea party type.  The point of that sentence, as I understand it, is to simultaneously discourage three things:

      1. . . . lefties from infiltrating the caucus
      2. . . . the C4L from a Paul-or-nothing approach
      3. . . . the rockefeller wing from pitching a fit if someone like, say, Herman Cain wins the primary.

      As I've said, I think that there's a better way to do that, but right now I don't know what it is.
