      That's an interesting concept. I have a vague recollection of something about 1/36th of every county's land being reserved for educational purposes, or funding? Was that in the state constitution, or just early law? Is the requirement to have public schools constitutional, or statutory? I know it's not in federal law, except probably as a requirement for grants.
