Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    Raise the curtain.

Ricky, you got some 'splainin' to do!

While the GoverNerd "too divisive" continues to enable public sector unions to run amok, his imported $250,000 a year bean counter has the veritable gall to launch this doozy.

He also discussed passage of the state budget and one of the most contentious pieces of the plan -- the pension tax.

It was "probably the most unpolitically favorable thing you can do as a governor," he said.

Not to mention stupid during the wrath of Obama spending in the wake of Granholm carnage.

"We could have balanced the budget without taxing pensions," Nixon said.

But you didn't.  It is record that the choice was made by the latent Democrat GoverNerd to blatently gouge everyone in taxes instead of chopping down $9 billion in Granholm spending.

Oh, this gets even more obnoxiously slap-in-the-face from here...

    Dig this.

But looking at the demographics of the state, Nixon said they wanted to link those who were benefiting from state services to those that were contributing to the cost of paying for them.

By 2030, 20 percent of the state's population will be retired, he said.

2030?  That's 19 fricken years away!  So, some silly assed guesstimate two decade down the road is stated, so why not nail geezers now?  WTF!  Furthermore, Michigan is nowhere near being considered in the top 10 population for geezers.  Never will either.

"We love our retirees ... They spend a lot of money, and it's great to have them here," he said.

It's obvious!  Lansing loves geezers monies more than leaving their monies in geezers pockets.  Judging by the amount of For Sale signs that have sprouted in my parts, the geezers aren't all that impressed with the GoverNerd.  Nor am I.

The MI-GOP needs to be cleansed of infiltrating Democrat-light.  Closed Primary are a must happen.

    The GoverNerd has to go.

would have been to fire every damned teacher in Michigan and turn the public schools into private charter schools.

Why not tax pensions? (none / 0) (#6)

I don't understand why pensions were never taxed in the first place.  Why should I as a college student have to pay money on my income, while retired people get their income tax free?  It's avoiding the tax system by stashing away non-taxed money for later that's still not getting taxed when they get it the second time.

If you don't want to tax pensions, that's fine, but at least tax the money that people are putting into the pensions, otherwise it's unfair to people who don't have pensions.

Actually, all three of you... (none / 0) (#10)

...have had this matter answered in the past.  Whether or not you all like or accept it is not my problem.

You can rehash this in the archives among yourselves.

    Later.
