Let's assume the report comes up roses, and there's more left in the kitty than anyone thought. Would that then make it morally right and proper to remove the "totally unrelated and unnecessary pension tax"? Would it also make it equally morally right to remove the tax on whatever private pensions and 401k pensions that are now taxed? If not, why?
