Ms. Weaver is an individual who puts her personal biases and petty office politics ahead of the law. This does not surprise me in the least.

I highly regret this vote from 2002. It was a last minute nose holding decision and blunder we all should have seen. Hindsight is 20/20. I screwed up in my vote.

After reading more of the decisions and her dissents and/or concurrences, reasonings, and comments on the court decisions, I've decided that I'd vote for even Justice Cavanaugh over Weaver if I had to pick between the two today. At least Cavanaugh can make legal arguments. It's for the same reason that I can respect Stevens or Ginsburg, but not Souter or O'Conner. Lightweights.
