    I am Howard Walker's campaign manager.  I thought I'd take a second to respond to the above article. Howard was disappointed not to have been able to get to the forum, but it was indeed a scheduling issue. We did make inquiries to the event's organizers to try and assure impartiality, and after talking with them we were convinced we would be given a fair shake.

    I apologize on behalf of the campaign if his not being able to be there offended anyone, but it is a very large district and Howard cannot be everywhere at once.

    Howard has already appeared at a couple of forums and will be appearing at a total of five forums prior to the primary. Anyone wishing to see Howard at a forum is welcome to join us at Boyne Falls High School tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th at 2pm.
